Who are you? Tell me your story.
My name is Natalia, I’m 30 years old. Eight years ago, I had a sacroiliac fracture during the third trimester of pregnancy. I had a lot of aftereffects, a lot of pain—I couldn’t even carry my daughter and this pain stuck with me for over 5 years.
What were the issues and challenges you faced?
I saw every specialist in the book, many of them tried to help but without any success . Every time I noticed some improvement, it would only last a very short time.
Why did you come to us? What were your initial goals?
About three years ago, I met Sami. We mainly focused on the areas of pain. That was my main focus and all I wanted to improve.
Tell me how your journey has been so far?
I noticed that not only did I get rid of the pain, but I was able to do so many things I couldn’t do before: carry groceries, carry my daughter—and now I can ski without pain. I went skiing with my daughter for the first time last year. I recently transitioned goals from pain-related to more performance related, so we are currently working on my first pull-up!
What do you think of the team and the center?
It’s one of the core philosophies at Studio Fit U: we’re not here to train to look like a Baywatch poster—we’re here to get rid of pain.
The therapists and trainers at Studio Fit U are very mindful of clients’ limits. The goal is to feel better and eliminate pain.
