Hello, I’m Ruben and like many people, my relationship with health and fitness hasn’t always been smooth. I’ve always known that I should take care of myself : eat better, move more, manage my stress—but knowing and doing are two very different things.
What did your fitness look like before training at Studio Fit U?
Before I started working with Studio Fit U, I felt stuck. I was constantly tired, juggling work stress, and felt like my body wasn’t mine anymore. I had tried different diets, gym memberships, and even online programs, but I could never stick to anything for long. Honestly, I didn’t have a clear plan, and I didn’t feel supported.
My record weight was around 234-235 pounds. All my habits were based on sedentary work from home. This also led to some joint problems.
What were the issues and challenges you faced before starting the process with us?
What really changed things for me was realizing that I didn’t need to do it all alone.
Joining Studio Fit U gave me a structure, a plan that made sense for me, and most importantly, people who actually care about my progress. Instead of just being handed a workout and left to figure it out, I got real guidance—from trainers who understand my limits and push me just enough, and from a community that reminds me why I started in the first place.
Emotionally, it was difficult. Something needed to be done, and that was really the turning point.
Explain to me how your journey has been so far. What have you appreciated the most about your experience?
I started following some advice from a nutritionist. It really improved my mood a bit because my day starts with exercise. That’s when I can truly get things done before starting work.
Developing the habit of starting the day with physical activity—I hope that becomes a solid routine.
One of the biggest changes wasn’t even physical—it was mental. I stopped seeing health as a punishment or something I had to do to “fix” myself. I started seeing it as a way to take care of myself, to feel strong again, and to show up better in all areas of my life.
What results have you achieved so far, and how long did it take you?
I’ve lost about 24-25 pounds. Visually, there’s been a change, and I quickly went down in pants size.
Now, I’m lifting heavier, eating with more intention, and I’ve developed a routine I genuinely enjoy. I feel good in my clothes again. I’m sleeping better. My energy is back. I’m even inspiring people around me without realizing it.
My story isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress—and finally having the tools and support to make lasting changes. That’s what made the difference.

The equipment is not only high-quality but also exceptionally well-maintained, and the entire space is spotless, creating an environment that feels both welcoming and motivating.
